mayonnaise.
I'm might get back into reading fimfiction stories as its been forever since I've been on this website. Not exactly write any stories yet since I don't feel like it.
I think I’m gonna start color coding Thorax and Pharynx. They’ve had color shifts because I don’t know what color to use
So when I use blue and purple it means before the metamorphosis.
And when I use Lime and Turquoise that means after metamorphosis.
Yes, I am still alive to all you doubting people! I was just away and didn't bother about doing any blog posting.
Anyway, did ya have a good Easter, eh, eh? Get any chocolate? Get sick 'cause you forgot that happens when you eat too much chocolate? Go to church? Forget Easter even exists?
Either way, I hope you had a good Easter, even if you didn't do/get any of the above (you should definitely leave out the getting sick part).
While I don't have an exact number for all of the main cast, I will give you this for use as a future reference for all of the stories I write:
Averages:
Foals, up to twelve years old, are roughly the same size as a Jack Russel Terrier.
(11" - 1'5" and roughly 120-200Lbs)
Teenage ponies are similar to an Irish terrier
(1'5"-2'8" and can vary from 200-440Lbs)
Adult ponies are roughly the same height as a male Irish Wolfhound.
(2'8" - 2'11" tall, and around 440 - 520Lbs)
Okay, so I haven't blogged in a while.
I'll try not to bore you.
And I'll try not to mention the rise to power of You Know Who.
Aw... I was hoping it was real, because if you know, then you know.
Hey everybody, I just want to let you know I may be a little quiet for a while (not that I'm especially active or anything, but you know). I live in Florida and currently my family has been tracking Hurricane Ian. Currently it seems to be heading a little south away from where I am (a lot better then before where my city was on a direct collision course with a category 4 storm) but that could change at any time and it won't be a pleasant experience regardless. It hasn't been this bad since
Twilight is already a Princess in my story, and I'm taking A Dog and Pony Show and wedging it in.
In the most seamless way possible.
Just so you know.
For the most part, all my stories are on Hiatus. That said, I wrote up 2 new chapters for Daring Do and Spike: and the Ancient Dragon Goddess, and will likely be posting them in the next few days while keeping the story in it’s current status. This is just the result of me wanting to be productive in some way.
So, on Christmas (at, like, 4:00 in the morning the day after, actually) I put a story up for posting here on Fimfiction.
Now, "where is this story?" one might ask.
Still not posted.
"Why?" might that same person ask.
Because the publishers didn't post it by new year's and I got cold feet.
Still reading Vultures Picnic, by Greg Palast. The book that pointed out the finance minister up a tree with an invisibility hex. There's a lot of background to Armenia and Azerbaijan that feels prescient, for a book that's now ten years old.
One thing he says that caught my eye; In countries that strike oil money, the people always get televisions before they get toilets.
Do you know who else has dementia?
[Do you know who else has dementia?]
This is from Helmet For My Pillow, a non-fictional recounting of World War 2 by Robert Leckie, a Marine who fought at Guadalcanal and other places in the Pacific. I'm trying to figure out why this story hits me more powerfully than the combat stories in the same book, and how or whether I can write anything like it.
Raven was shuffling the papers she had been assigned to reorganize in the school’s massive filing cabinet when she heard the rustle and swish of cloth coming down the hall to the main offices. She turned around—expecting to find a student or parent standing at the desk—and was confronted instead with the sight of Vice Principal Luna in a full Victorian-style dress complete with ruffled lace and corset. The VP was even wearing elbow length gloves and had some sort of dark colored tiara
As it is I have to a put some buckshot in my old external hard drive, which broke so utterly and completely that trying to yank it out of the enclosure and stick it in my computer broke my computer. I had to reinstall my OS. Twice.
Perhaps I'll use explosives. Or build a railgun. I am an angry nerd with everything he needs to make one.
But yeah here, this is what I've been up to.
The alternative title for the message I got regarding my new story. Oh, and I submitted a new story. Huzzah~
Now, if you excuse me, I gotta go work on a lab report that's due on Monday.
